NICK TC-SCAN (GAMBIA) LTD has successfully held a strategic staff retreat aimed at reviewing institutional performance over the past year and strengthening plans for the implementation of its 2026 mandate, with a strong focus on the theme “Digitizing Trade”.
The retreat brought together representives from management and staff to assess achievements, identify operational gaps, and align priorities in support of the institution’s role in facilitating efficient, transparent, and technology-driven trade processes. Deliberations centered on enhancing service delivery through digital systems, improving inter-departmental cordination, and strengthening stakeholder engagement.
Speaking on the importance of the retreat, MR. PRINCE ADJEI AMOFA (IT manager) emphasized that the exercise was critical to ensuring institutional readiness for the demands of a modern trade environment.
The retreat further reinforced accountability, innovation. and teamwork as key pillars for achieving the institution’s objectives. in the year ahead. Outcomes from the sessions will inform departmental work plans and guide the effective implementation of trade digitizations initiatives.
